All of our weddings are given custom quotes to meet their individual needs, but they generall y fall into two catagories:
Micro-Weddings: $3,000 minimum
Full Service Floral Design: $6,000 minimum
Our process works best if we have at least 6 months to work on your wedding together, however we can making almost any wedding happen with at least a month's notice.
Dates in peak wedding season (May-October) do fill quickly, so please reach out promptly in order to secure your date.
Micro-weddings usually have 50 guests or fewer and typically only need personal flowers, plus a small ceremony installation OR a small amount of reception floral.
Micro-Wedding clients will receive a full floral mood board, get an indepth design meeting, and have unlimited email access to assist in the planning process. We will also deliver and set up your Mirco-Wedding. Tear down is an optional add on.
If you'd like more information on pricing, please see our sample pricing here.
Full Service Floral Design weddings typically have over 50 guests and have floral elements throughout for personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnieres, etc.), ceremony, and reception. These weddings require more indepth design planning, sketches, and logistics.
Full Service Floral Design clients receive a full floral mood board with up to two iterations if necessary, sketches of ceremony installations and unique elements, unlimited email access, and an indepth design meeting.
We will deliver, set up, and make sure staff is around to move your florals throughout your wedding day. We also tear down your florals at the end of the night.
If you'd like more information on pricing, please see our sample pricing here.
Micro-Wedding Floral Design clients typically spend $3,200-3,500. Full Service Floral Design clients typically spend $6,000-8,000.
Our goal is to make something unique for each couple, so we don't copy and paste other designer's work. We'll get as close as we can to your design with mood boards and personalized, hand drawn sketches. We recommend booking with a designer whose work you already admire and who you trust to make your vision come to life.
The short answer is no. We work sustainably and seasonally, therefore we cannot guarantee any particular flower for your wedding. Sometimes crops die, trucks fail to arrive in time, or a growing season starts late or ends early. We always do our best to procure your favorite blooms, but we can't make hard promises with the way the environment is right now.
Yes, we absolutely do white weddings! While we do highlight a lot of color in our portfolio, please see examples of our white wedding work here.
We have all the vase ware and vessels you'll need for your floral designs, no need to provide us with hardgoods unless you're wanting to use something special.
We also have a variety of candle rentals, arches, and a chuppah available.
We have a variety of arches and a chuppah/mandap structure for rental. The price of the rental will be included in the price of your floral installation. We pride ourselves on being pretty handy, so we're not opposed to building new structures for installations if need be.
We have so many different candles and candle holders, plus chimneys and hurricanes that venues require for fire safety. To take a look at our candle inventory, please see our Candle Catalog here.
Yes, Kinetic Botany values sustainability and we do our best to be a sustainable brand. Our goal is always to source at least 80% of each wedding or event from farms within the Pacific Northwest. We also dry as many flowers as we can over the course of the year and repurpose them as appropriate. Whatever we cannot give a second life to ends up getting composted to feed our garden and create more flowers and vegetables in the future.
We are incredibly lucky to have so many local farms that we work with in the Pacific Northwest. Most are small growers in the states of Washington and Oregon, but some of our product comes from California and British Columbia.
Wedding flowers are not the same as the flowers you see at the grocery store. Many of these flowers are luxury varieties grown specifically for special events and you can't get them at your local supermarket. Often they take more water or labor to tend to, meaning that they retail for a minimum of $3.50 a stem or more.
